Official Submission of the 2026 Synod Report to His Grace

The Synod Central Planning Committee (SCPC) has formally presented the 2026 Synod Report to His Grace, The Most Rev’d Emmanuel A. S. Egbunu, Ph.D., at the Mission House, Bishop’s Court, Lokoja.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Mrs. Abosede Sokolayan Egbunu, President of the Mother’s Union and Women’s Guild; Canon M. K. Salami, Host Supervising Priest; the Diocesan Treasurer and Assistant; the Administrative Assistant to the Bishop; Mrs. Ifeoma Chidebe, LOC Chairperson; and other diocesan officials.

His Grace expressed gratitude to God for the success of the Synod and commended the SCPC for their dedication and service. Drawing from Philippians 2:25–30, he encouraged believers to honour those who devote themselves sacrificially to the work of God, praising the committee for their faithfulness and commitment.

Highlighting the committee’s unique achievement of chairing the Synod for three consecutive years, His Grace described this as a demonstration of confidence in their leadership and devotion to the Diocese.

The SCPC Chairman, Mr. Solomon Kwasi, formally handed over the report, which His Grace received with appreciation. He urged the committee to remain united and steadfast, affirming: “It is good that we are moving forward.”

The event concluded with prayers for God’s continued blessings, guidance, and divine direction upon the committee as they contribute to the growth and development of the Church.

This submission reaffirms the SCPC’s commitment to accountability, effective service, and the advancement of God’s work within the Diocese.
